Internship Offer – Support for the Development of RESTORE

Internship Offer – Support for the Development of RESTORE

6-month internship, starting in September 2025.

Biodiv’AM is looking for an intern to assist the founders of RESTORE, the first investment vehicle dedicated to biodiversity through the issuance of certificates.

Biodiversity certificate trading markets are not yet in place; establishing them is, in fact, the goal of the France–United Kingdom roadmap led by Sylvie Goulard and Dame Amelia Fawcett (Non-Executive Director at State Street) as part of the International Advisory Panel for Biodiversity Credits.

For their part, the Biodiversity Credit Alliance (BCA), the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC), and the World Economic Forum are developing research and benchmarking tools to support the emergence of biodiversity credit markets. Such markets will need to ensure the integrity of the underlying projects, be structured around independent and scientifically credible standards and governance bodies, and generate a sufficient flow of funding to achieve tangible gains—enough to help reverse the current trend of biodiversity loss.

RESTORE aims to bring together a group of major investors to finance several dozen biodiversity conservation and restoration projects, covering 3 million hectares over five years, and to ensure their long-term monitoring and certification over a thirty-year period, both in France and internationally. RESTORE was officially launched on October 25 at COP 16 in Cali, Colombia, in the presence of the European Commission, French authorities, and representatives of the first funded projects (in France and Peru).
