Launch of the Amazon Conservation Company website

Launch of the Amazon Conservation Company (Compañía de Conservación Amazónica) website

RESTORE and its partner Fronterra are pleased to announce the launch of the website for Compañía de Conservación Amazónica (CCA), a Peruvian company that enables RESTORE to support projects on the ground that closely match the needs of public services and local communities, and to serve biodiversity conservation.

CCA is, above all, a multidisciplinary team committed to conserving the Peruvian Amazon. By combining engineering expertise, solid experience in social sciences, and international commercial partnerships serving Amazonian communities and the Amazon basin, CCA works to unlock funding for the conservation of protected areas and the restoration of degraded land.

Its approach is aligned with the European Union’s new nature credit architecture: certification of biodiversity outcomes leading to traceable, highly reliable, and ultimately tradable credits. By designing these guidelines from the outset, CCA aims to sustain the actions of European companies as policies and market infrastructure mature over the coming years.
