One year already since the last ChangeNOW event

In the span of a year, we launched RESTORE – Biodiversity, Together (the first investment vehicle fully and exclusively dedicated to biodiversity certificates EVER) on October 24th, just ahead of COP16 Colombia, where we presented our proposal – original, unique, robust, and deeply committed.

Thanks to the support of the European Commission and the IAPB, the past few months have enabled concrete progress in defining the deployment framework, timeline, expectations, and key levers – both at the European and international levels.

By the end of 2024, thanks to a first investor, we were able to formalize the funding of three initial projects: two in France – in the Jura and the Vosges regions, led by Le Printemps des Terres – and a flagship project in Peru, dedicated to the establishment of the Sierra del Divisor National Park, in collaboration with the Peruvian government and our partners SERNAMP and FRONTERRA.

We are fully aligned with the vision expressed by Ursula von der Leyen on September 13, 2024, and reaffirmed by Agnès Pannier-Runacher on February 17, 2025, to see the development of a European-scale market — and eventually a global one.

This journey is truly exciting, and we are convinced that we can make a tangible contribution to achieving the restoration goals set out in the Global Biodiversity Framework from the Kunming-Montreal Agreement.
