Project Selection Criteria
Projects applying for funding from the RESTORE fund must meet the following criteria:
Demonstrable ecological additionality
The project must provide additional ecological value compared to the initial situation.
Recognized scientific methodology
The project must rely on a recognized scientific methodology and be scientifically validated.
Integration into a territorial project
The project must fit within a territorial framework by involving local stakeholders and considering the challenges of land sharing.
Measurable magnitude
The project must include a measurable metric related to biodiversity units, in accordance with the recommendations of the IAPB.
Verifiability
The project must allow for verification of its results and impacts.
Acceptance of RESTORE's standard contract
The project proponent must agree to sign RESTORE’s standard contract, which includes the transfer of biodiversity credits.
